Costa Rica Heads To The West Coast
by Anna GleksmanCosta Rica will launch a series of educational seminars for travel agents at a roadshow in San Francisco on March 29, in Los Angeles on March 30, and in San Diego on March 31.
The seminars will focus on Costa Rica’s unique biodiversity, and offer one-on-one meetings with the country’s tourism community.
Costa Rica is home to 238.8 types of plants, 16.9 bird species, and 4.6 mammals within 380 square miles. It saw a 9% increase in tourism last year, officials said, bringing in $3 billion in tourism revenue.
