Hyatt Ziva Cancun Readies Adults-Only Resort-Within-A-Resort
by Jessica MontevagoThe Hyatt Ziva Cancun will officially open its adult-only experience “Turquoize” in September.
While the 547-room resort is geared toward families, it now has an option for adults looking for some kid-free R&R. The Turquoize tower combines the “luxuries and comfort of a five-star resort and the private, personalized feel of a boutique, adults-only property,” the company said.
Its 695-square-foot oceanfront guestrooms offer balconies with private hot tubs, floor-to-ceiling rainfall showers and complimentary minibars. Turquoize guests receive private airport transportation, VIP check-in, butler and concierge service, adult-only dining, a private elevator with direct access to the Zen Spa and a complimentary hydrotherapy circuit. They also will have exclusive access to the rooftop infinity pool and private rooftop bar.
Located on Mexico’s Yucatan coast, the Hyatt Ziva Cancun, part of the Playa Hotels & Resorts collection, opened in January after an $85 million renovation; it was previously a Dreams Cancun. Its all-inclusive amenities include 14 restaurants and bars, a fitness center and lagoon-like infinity pools.
