Trafalgar, a TTC Tour brand and sister brand to Uniworld Boutique River Cruising, is expanding into river cruising starting in spring 2026 with two journeys along the Rhine and Danube rivers. Travel advisors have first access to these itineraries on behalf of their clients, ahead of the general public.
The two new itineraries will be an eight-day Danube River cruise on the 128-passenger Trafalgar Reverie and a 10-day Rhine River cruise on the 128-passenger Trafalgar Verity. Both ships are full charters of Uniworld vessels being operated as Trafalgar ships.
“We’ve always been about making it easy for travelers to connect with the heart and soul of every destination,” said Melissa DaSilva, deputy CEO, TTC Tour Brands. “Now, we’re bringing that same philosophy and unmatched experience – valued by our travel advisor partners, to Europe’s iconic rivers.”
DaSilva added that the strategy includes leveraging “trusted” Trafalgar touchpoints including its “Be My Guest” encounters and “MAKE TRAVEL MATTER” experiences.
River cruise journeys are open for booking now for sailings beginning April 11, 2026.
The Danube cruise will sail between Budapest and Passau visiting Bratislava and Vienna, where guests are invited to a “Be My Guest” dining experience at Austria’s oldest winery. Optional extensions in Prague and Budapest are available. Rates start at $2,799 per person/double occupancy.
The Rhine sailing journeys between Basel and Amsterdam visiting Cologne and Strasbourg, and sailing through the Middle Rhine Gorge. On this journey, the “Be My Guest” experience visits the Bohrers for lunch at their family-run farm. Additionally, guests will learn about artisanal vinegar production during a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experience at Weinessiggut Doktorenhof. An optional extension to Lucerne is available. Rates start at $3,399 per person/double occupancy.
Trafalgar and Uniworld are brands within The Travel Corporation umbrella, which was purchased by Apollo Private Equity last year.
Trafalgar’s expansion to rivers is the latest in a series of announcements by suppliers – Celebrity Cruises, Lindblad Expeditions, and Waldorf Astoria – that have all set their sights on river cruising.
